Suma

In the last issue, we discussed the second major ingredient in the immune boosting formula, Pau d'arco. In this issue, we'll discuss the third ingredient, Suma.

Suma has been used as a medicinal herb by rainforest Indians for hundreds of years. It is first and foremost an immunostimulant, which accounts for its use primary use in the formula, but it also has a whole series of secondary benefits. It can help rebuild both the nervous and cardiovascular systems. It has been used to effectively treat diabetes and arthritis. It can help with chronic fatigue and and high blood pressure. And it has been very beneficial in treating sickle cell anemia because of its ability to inhibit the "sickling" of red blood cells. But probably it's most notable side benefit is its usefulness in treating cancer.

Anti-tumor, Anti-Cancer

Suma has been clinically proven to have anti-tumor capabilities, specifically demonstrated against Hodgkin's disease and leukemia, and in fact, patents have been issued for several of the isolated compounds found in Suma as anticancer drugs. (Note: the amounts used in testing and treating were in the range of 4-6 grams per day of dried herb.)

And finally, Suma is probably the best source of organic germaniumn (also known as germanium sesquioxide or Ge-132) in the world. Medicinal herbs such as garlic, ginseng, and aloe vera rank a distant second. Organic germanium is very different from elemental germanium, which can be toxic in large amounts. Organic germanium, on the other hand, is safe in any amount, and in addition to be a strong pain reliever and immunostimulant, it has strong anticancer properties, including the ability to combat:

  • Breast cancer
  • Prostate cancer
  • Lung cancer
  • Brain tumors
  • Liver and kidney cancer
  • Cancers of the tongue, larynx, and throat
  • Leukemia and lymphomas as well as metastasis to lymph nodes and spleen
  • And many different kinds of sarcomas

By this point in our discussion, you should be getting a feel for why people who regularly use the immune boosting formula have reported so many benefits, including its ability to:

  • Boost the immune system
  • Knock out colds and flu
  • Relieve arthritis pain
  • Improve the effectiveness of chemotherapy
  • Even make tumors go away
  • Eliminate candida
  • Dry up cold sores and shingles when used topically
  • Destroying infections and tooth abscesses
  • Etc.

In our next newsletter, we'll conclude our discussion of Immunity Plus as we explore the role of Reishi, Maitake, and Cordyceps mushrooms in the formula.
