Hi Detoxers!

Here are a few tips and reminders for today.

Morning Drink:

  • Some are asking us to define “whole lemon.” You want to peel a lemon and make sure you use the juice of the entire lemon.
  • To avoid chunks of garlic & ginger in your morning drink, add your chopped garlic and ginger to the blender first. Then add only a little bit of the orange juice. This will allow you to totally liquefy the garlic and ginger before you add the rest of the orange juice, oil and water.
  • If it is too bitter, use more orange or grape juice.

Detox Schedule Questions:

  • First, make sure you print a copy of Jon’s Liver Detox Schedule for the week. This will help to guide you through what to take and when, for the entire 5 days.
  • If you did not soak your tea last night, don’t worry, you can still brew it today. It will just not be as strong. Simply add tea each day to the pot so by the fifth day, you have really strong tea.
  • Note on the schedule that when you wake up in the morning, start with a glass of pure water each day to flush the system. Then, take your tinctures just before you start making your morning drink so they are in your system by the time you start consuming the morning drink.
  • Note to drink Detox tea throughout the day, then sip and "chew" your freshly made juice from a juicer. Of course, some of you are eating salads for the first day. That's fine. Just remember - NO OIL OR FATS, as they will interfere with the morning flush drink. This includes flax seed and Jon’s Super Food.

Remember to top off your pots of tea tonight and add a little more tea so it's ready to steep in the morning.
