This unpublished abstract is already meeting with skepticism from specialists in the field (Otolaryngologists and Allergists). While sinus rinsing won’t eliminate colds, sinus infections and allergies altogether, research shows that it will reduce their frequency and the duration and intensity of their symptoms. NeilMed has systematically collected feedback from thousands of physicians as well as customers and this data supports the published conclusions that positive effects of nasal irrigation as a preventive therapy outweigh any negatives. We have posted the published studies on nasal irrigation on our website for those who want to do their own research (www.neilmed.com usa/publications.php). You can also go to the website to post questions and comments (http://www.neilmed.com/ask/index.php). We welcome the conversation.

The lack of substantive references in this article disappoints. What is not clearly shown is a demonstrated, measured cause-and-effect in any meaningful way. It's easy to demonize smoking; what next, people who don't shave? I could name just as many toxins found in the beards of unshaven men.

I came here for facts. I checked your links and references. I got opinions.

Which is fine until they are presented as facts.

Dear Elisabeth and other faithful readers,
Do yourselves a favour and get the Dr. Kurt Donsbach book Oxygen as well as the Ed McCabe book O2xygen Therapies. They talk about using diluted 35% Food Grade Hydrogen Pyroxide H2O2 for a myriad of uses. One of which is to use 4 ounces of 35% Food Grade Hydrogen Pyroxide in a gallon of water and washing your fruits and vegetables in it. Likewise, spraying your fish, poultry, beef and pork. The purpose is to removed virtually all of the bacteria and most of the contaminants. Neighbors use H2O2 in drinking water, for hogs, cattle and poultry. We use it to spray our orchard for pests and to enhance growth.

Lots of good info and sleep tips here, thanks. Another one that can help many people is to be sure the sleeping surface is comfortable and does not add to muscle tension. The usual spring mattresses most people use tend to cause pressure points in the body to build up during the night. Memory foam surfaces support the weight more evenly, which reduces tensions.

I can verify the story of damaging feet in real high heels when young. I did! And, my ob/gyn dr. said the cement floors in homes, stores and offices has had detrimental effects also! He suggested to me to get support pantyhose and wear them with the good support shoes. Because I was home on cement floors all the time I did, and the back, ankle and foot pain went away. I did that for about 8 years, them forgot and I am paying the price today. And I am about the 65 yr. age that is spoken of. Haven't gone to a dr. about it, but now use orthotics and ankle/foot supports! Not worth it to give men their jollies!! lol

PLEASE don't believe these kinds of reports, they are SO skewed!!! The "spanking" that they are talking about is actually ABUSE!! DISCIPLINE means the parent is in control of themself!! The example of yelling shows out of control!! And the physical contact comes after the child is talked to! Then 2 or 3 physical contacts, on the butt only, then the child is loved on, talked to calmly and offered a time to further discussion (as the child gets older) later. I have been involved in the homeschooling movement, and almost all of the children I have been involved with have been DISCIPLINED this way, and are superior to the intelligence in public schools!!! Please do further research before you fall for these twisted stories!! They are lies! Thank you for listening!
